Camp Overview:

The Hermits Lacrosse camp, in year 20, provides young athletes with the opportunity to grow their skills in a friendly and positive environment.  The camp stresses the development of a "lacrosse IQ" through a variety of drills and games. 

Director: JC Valore

JC Valore, a native of Moorestown, N.J., and graduate of the University of Delaware, is the Founder and Director of SouthShore Lacrosse. He has been instrumental in the fundamental coaching, mentoring, and development of youth and high school players in South Jersey for over 20 years. Valore currently serves as head coach for St. Augustine Prep helping to guide the Hermits' lacrosse program from inception to national recognition. During his tenure at the helm of the Hermits and since taking on the task of building the program in 2004, the N.J. Non-Public A Coach of the Year (2010 & 2022) and five-time Atlantic City Press Coach of the Year has led his team to one state championship (2022), two other state championship appearances (2010 & 2011) and eight conference titles while facing some of the toughest competition in the state and country. Having additionally served as the coach of Team NJ in the Under Armor Games for three consecutive years, Valore has aided in the development of some of the top players in the country including 34 High School All-Americans and 13 Academic All-Americans. He resides in Mullica Hill, N.J. with his wife Vanessa, also a University of Delaware graduate, son Luca, and daughter Gia.
