This program is designed for aspiring young writers who dream of becoming published authors. Campers will embark on a literary adventure, crafting their own original stories and bringing them to life using the versatile tools of Canva. Campers will dive into the world of self-publishing, turning their creative ideas into a real, bound book they can proudly share with family and friends.

Hands-On Computer Course:
Dive into the fundamentals of Canva, a user-friendly design platform.
Develop skills in design, graphics, and layout to enhance the visual appeal of your book.
Develop skills in illustration and visual storytelling using digital tools to create original artwork
Exploration of Literary Genres and Creative Writing:
Engage in the art of storytelling through practicing both fiction and non-fiction genres, including children’s literature, photojournalism, memoirs, and poetry.
Practice telling compelling stories using a combination of words and powerful images.
Individualized Learning Environment:
Students will benefit from one-on-one writing guidance and constructive feedback to strengthen Language Arts skills.
Students will practice the skills of self-expression to build confidence as they mature through middle school and approach high school.
